Business Intelligence Lead - Virtual or Chicago

We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to join our national Project and Development Services (PDS) platform. The PDS Business Intelligence Lead has responsibility of PDS platform data, reporting, and analytics processes that touch all aspects of service delivery to be consistent with corporate standards. The role is critical to the success of PDS, driving internal service line analytics, performance management, and process improvement programs. The BI lead will collaborate to define business metrics, develop data requirements across multiple technology sources, and deliver management intelligence to PDS leadership. In addition, the BI lead will partner with JLL technology professionals to manage accessibility to PDS data for consumption and best practice sharing for other JLL BI teams. Growing our analytics capability is an essential deliverable and will have direct management of analyst team. This position provides an opportunity to work in a broad range of areas related to the business including management intelligence, client portfolio analysis, and performance management programs.

The activities for the role include:

· Develop deep understanding of business objectives to translate into an information management and business intelligence strategy which is integrated and consistent at the PDS leadership level.

· Provide leadership of analyst and specialist teams to develop recommendations based on data interpretation and analysis to transform behaviors and techniques.

· Partner closely with technology team to create new data sets furthering data and reporting capabilities through platform technology.

· Manage internal management information and analytics such as key financial metrics, resource utilization and project profitability to provide data, information, and action to the PDS business.

· Deliver solutions for business requests for data via ad-hoc, automated, and standard reporting and analytics that support sales and business initiatives.

· Partner with JLL Technology teams to design data integration from multiple systems into manageable data warehouses using Databricks and SQL server

· Promote and enable the import and export of best practices to and from other business groups and link to emerging practices in the industry and the BI/data fields.

· Provide subject matter expertise for all data related processes and analyses supporting project management business.

· Driving benchmarking platform leveraging internal data and cross client analytics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Information Technology or related field required.

· 5-7 years of relevant data analytics work experience

· Proficiency using tools, such as Tableau and Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) tools

· Demonstrated experience with standard analytical, reporting and programming languages and their application (such as Databricks, SQL, SAS, SPSS, Python, R, VBA, SSRS, etc.)

· Experience with data architecture, data integration/ETL, data warehousing, and/or business intelligence deployed in a complex environment.

· Understanding of data and systems engineering concepts to effectively integrate and analyze data to develop actionable business information deliverables.

· Able to think logically, organize work flows efficiently, and solve problems independently.

· Ability to document business user stories and communicate back to data architecture team

· Outstanding communication skills-oral and written

· Creative problem solving capabilities with ability to drive results and provide relevant solutions to clients

Estimated total compensation for this position:

130,000.00 – 150,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
