Business Intelligence Leader Procurement
**Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Microsoft BI Stack. The role will report into the Vice President of Supply Chain for Ralliant and lead the business intelligence function and its team. This role will develop relationships with stakeholders and formulate a long-term strategy to best position Ralliant procurement’s success globally for data management, reporting tools, and insight creation. Responsibilities of this role include supporting the implementation of data to enhance procurement insights globally, supporting the global procurement team with subject matter expert knowledge about systems, tools, and data, and managing/supporting procurement projects as a leader. The individual must be a hands-on leader willing to roll up their sleeves to drive a fully integrated operational and strategic plan. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong time-management and organizational skills are required while leading the team of BI/Web developers. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and own strategies focused on data utilization to improve supply chain performance at Ralliant and within our operating companies + Design and Develop SQL Server Integration Services packages and procedures. + Design and Develop Analysis Services models in tabular mode. + Design and Develop T-SQL procedures that support the business processes. + Design and develop reports using data visualization tools such as PowerBI. + Support implementation of data to enhance procurement insights globally. + Support the global procurement team with your subject matter expert knowledge about systems, tools, and data. + Manage/Support procurement associates in insight and reporting initiatives. + Manage the internal Microsoft server and network management with the support of the local I.T. department. + Manage the procurement developer team as a leader and mentor. **IDEAL EXPERIENCE** Candidate has led or managed a business intelligence team within a procurement or operations environment for 5+ years within the Microsoft BI stack and understands the importance of voice of customer to adapt the BI tools to the needs of the business in a fast-changing environment. An overall understanding of how business operates within the procurement, trade compliance, sustainability, finance, and risk departments is a plus. **CRITICAL LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES** **Acting Strategically** + Brings new thinking that challenges assumptions and conventional wisdom + Contributes to the development of procurement strategy + Describes the trends and evolution of the technology market or environment over a 3+ year horizon that challenge the current strategy **Driving Results** + Makes process changes to existing ways of working to significantly improve results + Proactively seeks to improve processes, raising quality and productivity through efficiencies or by implementing best-in-class solutions + Enables higher performance by incrementally improving approaches based on calculated risks + Benchmarks performance of business or function against industry best practices **Building Talent** + Makes a thoughtful, balanced assessment of the strengths and weaknesses/gaps within the team + Acts on opportunities to increase the diversity of talent in the team + Develops the whole team to maximize overall team effectiveness (e.g. team-building exercises) **Qualifications:** Technical Requirements: + Advanced T-SQL programming + Deep knowledge of MS SQL BI Server stack including Integration, Analysis Services, and SQL server + Advanced T-SQL programming + Deep knowledge of Microsoft network and server environments + Ability to create reports using Power BI, Excel, and other visualization tools + Good understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) + C# Development Experience + Good understanding of REST and Web API + Familiarity with the Azure cloud platform + Exposure to programming languages such as Python and R desired Work Experience: + 5-10 years developing business intelligence solutions + 3-5 years of working in a supply chain/procurement environment + ERP knowledge and development of data feeds from disparate systems is desired + AI/ML resource experience such as TensorFlow or PyTorch considered a plus Education: + BS in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent experience **Ralliant Overview** Every day, engineers transform scientific potential into real-world impact, reshaping how we live and work.
