Hello, Future Business Intelligence Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead our talented team of Business Intelligence (BI) Analysts in the Retail CDAO team. The BI Manager will be working closely with the BI Head supporting the Personal Banking Advisory & Suites business unit in the Personal Segment and assist with delivering innovative solutions and insights that drive the business forward. Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BI developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of BI solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and objectives.
Drive the design and development of complex data models, ETL processes, and OLAP cubes to support data analysis and reporting needs.
Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of BI systems and data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Retail CDAO team to understand data needs, deliver custom reports and dashboards, and provide insights that support strategic decisions.
Stay abreast of the latest BI technologies and best practices, advocating for and implementing improvements to BI tools and processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a BI Manager or similar leadership role in a data-intensive environment.
Expertise in SQL and experience with database technologies such as Teradata and SQL Server.
Proficient in BI tools, particularly PowerBI, and a strong understanding of ETL concepts and OLAP cubes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing junior team members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Qualification: B Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems\Technology or Engineering
Preferred Qualification: Honours Degree
Experience: 5 - 8 years' experience in a Business Intelligence and/or Data Engineering environment
