Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions using Microsoft Fabric technologies. This role involves working closely with data architects, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Solution Design: Design and develop data architectures and solutions using Microsoft Fabric technologies.Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data quality and consistency.ETL Processes: Develop and maintain efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move and transform data.Data Modelling: Create and maintain data models to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.Performance Optimization: Optimize data processes and queries for performance and scalability.Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes and systems.Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and best practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation in data engineering practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Fabric technologies.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric technologies, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.Strong knowledge of SQL and data modelling concepts.Strong knowledge of integrating with 3rd party APIs to retrieve data.Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
