Gallagher & Co., one of the world's largest insurance brokers, provides a full range of retail and wholesale property/casualty (P/C) brokerage and alternative risk transfer services globally, as well as employee benefit brokerage, consulting, and actuarial services in the United States. We also offer claims and information management, risk control consulting, and appraisal services to clients around the world. How you'll make an impact Develops new reports and maintains/enhances existing reports in Microsoft PowerBI Performs tasks and duties related to ad hoc and repetitive report analysis, design and processing. Interfaces with client and business contacts to gather and define requirements. Works with business, client and technical teams to gather and define requirements, author concise functional/technical documentation and provide status and project updates. Supervise small team of onshore/offshore development and quality assurance resources to insure timely delivery of all reporting solutions. Ensures key Service Level Agreements are met. Performs unit testing to validate accuracy and validity of reports and data integrity. Provides user (business and client) training in BI reporting tools and reports as needed. May act as project coordinator on key client projects. About You Required: Bachelor’s degree – preference in computer/information sciences or business/commerce. Experience supervising small teams of developers and quality assurance analysts. Minimum of 3 - 5 years “hands-on” experience in development of Microsoft PowerBI applications, analysis, or reports General understanding of SQL, database technologies, and data retrieval concepts. Knowledge of HTML and web technologies.
