Business Line Director - Technology Services
Job Summary:
DT Professional Services seeks a full-time, Business Line Director - Technology  Services in a hybrid capacity in Corona, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic to tactical execution of assigned business objectives. Working with C Level and Focus Area Leads, providing insight and oversight to current program execution delighting customers, accomplishing corporate goals, and supporting strategic/targeted markets for growth for Technology Services products and services. The Business Line Director - Technology Services is responsible for executing the growth plans of the business line in accordance with yearly assigned corporate goals and objectives. Additionally, overseeing a team of Focus Area leads in the execution of technical and/or non-technical programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines. These programs / projects may span various CONUS or OCONUS customers and agencies. The Business Line Director - Technology Services will coordinate with the Focus Area leads for geographic or customer specific assistance in the execution of the business lines programs/projects or for gathering information regarding a specific business development activity.

Responsibilities:Assists in the development and fully executes the approved Technology Services Business Line planEstablishes for Technology Services Business Line goals to align with corporate goals and ensures those goals flow down to the lowest execution level Identifies to the Chief Growth Officer tactical and strategic business opportunities through internal and external partnershipsResponsible for ensuring the Technology Services Business Line operates efficiently and effectively, supporting all corporate initiatives from initiation through to implementationResponsible to meet financial targets and objectivesOversees business line capture activities to meet assigned growth goalsOversees the for business lines management team in the execution of the operational, financial and contractual aspects of the business line Works with the business lines management team to manage and monitor subcontractor performance and equitable work distributionWorks with the business lines management team to define, implement, and drive mission-critical strategic and operational initiativesWorks with the business lines management team to monitor and manage customer relationshipsProvides thought leadership to business line process improvement Assists business lines management team with employment, training, mentoring, motivation, discipline, and performance evaluation of assigned employeesIdentifies, evaluates, and supports implementation of new solution opportunities to address unmet customer needsContinually enhances job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, sharing professional publications, maintaining professional networks and professional organizationsBasic Qualifications:Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or Civilian Public Trust security clearanceBachelor’s degree in a Technical Discipline or a Business Degree with a concentration in Technology Management, and/or Management and leadership7+ years’ of technical and supervisory experience in the management of multi-task, multi-function projects within the Department of Defense or Federal contracting environment5+ years’ experience managing programs or projectsDemonstrated experience managing, developing, evaluating, and supporting teams of 15+ technical and non-technical personnelDemonstrated knowledge of Department of Defense and/or federal procurement practicesDemonstrated strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resourcesExperience in preparing reports and briefingsDemonstrated analytical and time-management skillsDemonstrated ability to work as an active member of a senior leadership teamDemonstrated mastery of verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with all levels of an organization and/or potential customersDemonstrated ability to professionally and confidently communicate with Executives, customer partner companyPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience managing a technical and non-technical team or organization of 50+ personnel with P&L responsibilityMaster’s Degree in a technical or business discipline3+ years’ business development experience to include opportunity identification, capture, teaming, proposal development, and proposal reviewPMP CertificationThe compensation range for this position: $100k - $200k annually.
