Our client, a highly respected national law firm, is seeking a qualified and motivated Associate to join their Business Litigation team in Tampa or Miami, Florida.
Candidate Profile:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in Florida. 3-5 years of substantive business litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice, laboratory medicine, and professional liability matters. Clerkship experience and employment litigation are preferred but not required. Strong research and writing skills, with a desire to develop litigation skills, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, working with expert witnesses, and preparing for trial.Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of business litigation cases, particularly in medical malpractice and professional liability matters. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Engage in trial preparation, collaborate with expert witnesses, and represent clients in court. Participate in depositions and motion practice in both federal and state courts.Why Join?
