We are looking for you to join our team as a Business Management Analyst based out of our location in Woodland Hills, CA. Flexible work arrangements may be available for this role depending upon identified business needs.
What You’ll get to Do:
The Business Management Analyst will interface with Program Managers, Control Account Managers (CAM), and Business Managers to provide financial analysis on program performance. As part of this role the selected candidate will analyze cost data to prepare program financial reports for internal and external customers relative to program cost incurrence, material tracking and labor expenses to help ensure program contracts perform within negotiated parameters. This role will work cooperatively with business, functional, and technical staff to support cost estimate development, invoicing, customer proposals, negotiations, and various audits. This role will forecast financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet), the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and the Labor Resource Plan for their program. The Business Management Analyst supports the Sentinel/GBSD program.
Generate program performance measurement baselines (PMB) and implement approved changesPerform analyses and prepare reports to ensure program contracts are within negotiated, agreed-upon parameters, government cost control guidelines, and accounting guidelinesPerform analyses and prepare program financial reports for internal and external customers relative to program cost incurrence, material tracking, and labor spendingIdentify and mitigate program cost and schedule risk Coordinate and prepare program financial forecasting and reporting, the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and the Labor Resource PlanFacilitate, monitor, and forecast program financing mechanisms including Accounts Receivable, Advanced Payments, and Performance Based PaymentsSupport program audits, reviews, and fact-finding as requested by program customers, audit agencies, and company managementSupport program cost estimate development, customer proposals, and negotiationPerform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including developing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and performance measurement baseline (PMB), monitoring and analyzing the Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC), significant variances, risk management reserve (MR), and financial reserve (FR), and preparing of internal and external status reportsWork cooperatively with the business, functional, and technical staff to address internal and external customer requestsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of relevant financial work experience OR a Master's degree in business administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution with a minimum of 1 year of relevant financial work experience.Understanding of Government Contractual and Finance ComplianceProficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation or VBA macros.)Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.Current US Citizenship RequiredPreferred Qualifications:

Salary Range: $68,000.00 - $103,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
