Business Management Internship: Project Management Support
Introduction

The mission of the  Supplier Operations (SO) Excellence team is to improve the operational and tactical interaction between ASML and suppliers. This team is tasked to lead breakthrough programs, projects and initiatives that support this ambition. Our team consists of program managers, project leads, deployment leads, a portfolio manager, a product owner, a process & lean expert and a training lead.

Our team is responsible to:

Ensure that breakthrough ASML projects support the responsibilities of our Supplier Operations department;

Make our processes more proactive, preventive and resilient;

Lead projects that contribute significantly to the effectiveness of our department;

Embed any changes in our responsibilities and processes;

Simplify and standardize our way of working to allow us to scale efficiently;

Securing (onboarding) training is available for all colleagues in the department.
 

Your assignment

As part of the Supplier Operations Excellence team you will support the effectiveness and progress of our project portfolio. You will be responsible for the monthly progress tracking with the project leads and program managers, support meetings in which project decisions are made and project impact is communicated towards the department, and support in the quarterly allocation of the right people to the right projects.

Your tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Facilitate monthly reporting meetings on portfolio status and progress;

Ensure effective project decision meetings;

Gather resource requests for projects;

Improve the structure in resource and benefits management;

Improve overall project management capability in supplier operations.


Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

Are a bachelor or master student in Business, Management or something related, with a strong focus on Project Management;

Have a great affinity with Supply Chain Management;

Are ambitious, detail-oriented and have a can-do mentality;

Have a strong motivation to work in this team and therefore, a motivation letter is required;

Have great professional communication skills in English.
 

This is an apprentice internship (non-thesis), for minimum 5 months, 3 days per week (2+ days on-site). The starting date of this internship is as soon as possible.
 

Other requirements you need to meet:

You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
