Northrop Grumman Space Sector’s Remote Sensing Operating Unit is seeking a Business Management Manager – Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Linthicum, MD and will be onsite.  This position requires a Top Secret Security Clearance, with the ability to get a SCI (including Poly) upon hire. The position will be located onsite, with limited to zero remote flexibility due to nature, classifications, and scope of the role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all program related business management activities, including partnering with the Program Directors & Managers to ensure organizational financial goals are achieved, ensure superior program financial performance, and ensuring the customer's mission is achieved.  

Specific duties responsibilities will include but are not limited to, the following:

Management of financial key-line forecasting (Awards, Sales, OM, Cash Flow), work authorization, execution of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and contractual reporting, program budgeting, financial estimate at complete development, and various financial reporting activitiesCash Management to ensure timely invoicing and collectionsCollaboration with Program Managers and OU/BU leadershipProvide direct management for a team of Program Cost and Schedule Control AnalystsClearly communicate financial business analysis and reporting to senior managementCoordinate cost and schedule analyses and preparation of reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon cost and schedule parameters and program cost control guidelinesDevelop business strategy and forecasting, through internal or external deliverables such as the Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Support proposal activities from a financial and strategic perspectiveDevelop professional talent within the operating unitAssist with program startup efforts and support of the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and required data submittalsLead and support program auditsInterface with customer leadership on contract execution

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience - OR – Master’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.Earned Value Proficiency including the Earned Value Guidelines and EAC developmentPrior people management experienceExperience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and managementExperience with financial forecasting systems (i.e. Cognos) and ERP systems (i.e. SAP/S4)Proficient in Microsoft Office suiteCurrent, active Top Secret Security Clearance, with ability to obtain SCI (with Poly) upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or FinanceCurrent, active TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance10+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program controlExperience with Cognos Financial Forecasting System, Cobra Earned Value Management System, and SAP ERP 1Knowledge of government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan developmentUnderstanding of DoD contracts and FAR/DFARUnderstanding of Government Cost Accounting Standards

Salary Range: $142,600.00 - $213,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
