**Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?**
In your new role, you can expect to:
+ **Drive impact through executive support** for the SVP of Group Finance and the SVP’s leadership team. You will be
+ Coordinating leadership team agendas, annual wheel deliverables, global community agendas, finance newsletters and bi-annual finance conference
+ ad hoc tasks e.g. preparing presentations for the SVP and other senior stakeholders including the group CFO and facilitating workshops
+ Support the **end-to-end execution of strategic projects** and own the process related to shaping next year’s priorities with the leadership team
+ Facilitate **cross-functional projects** across Corporate Functions such as supporting the integration of Longboard Pharmaceuticals – our recent M&A acquisition
+ Lead a **team of skilled student assistants**
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark
**Your future team**
Corporate Functions consists of Group Finance, Global IT, Global Legal Compliance and Sustainability, Global Procurement, Investor Relations and Global Business Services (located in Poland). You will be enrolled in a team of experienced Business Managers to each of these functions.
You will be an integrated member of Group Finance with ~50 finance professionals located in Valby that cover the disciplines of Group Financial Reporting, ESG & Compliance, Group Treasury & Insurance, Group Tax, Group Financial Planning & Analysis, Product Development & Supply Finance, Commercial Finance, R&D Finance, and Digital Finance & Enablement. In Group Finance, we aim to be the leading finance function among listed Danish companies, and our work is characterized by a collaborative working environment, professionalism, and motivated teams

An ideal candidate has the following professional and personal qualifications:
+ **Advanced problem-solving & analytical skills** : Ability to break down complex problems, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to enhance decision making. An ideal candidate has experience in working with Excel and can navigate basic formulas
+ **Well-rounded communication & presentation skills** : Ability to effectively communicate complex messages in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing including using PowerPoint
+ **Structured & critical thinking** : Ability to approach challenges with logical, structured thinking and offer innovative solutions that address both immediate and long-term business needs. An ideal candidate has experience with cross-functional project management in a changing environment
+ At least a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
+ 1-3 years of experience in consulting, project management, or similar role
+ Proficient in spoken and written English
