Purpose The Business Manager supports the Building Intelligence, Mechanical Services, and Security Solutions business units by working closely with Sales, PMs, equipment requests / purchases, invoicing and filing. This position provides data entry/tracking functions within various systems and acts as a liaison between business units dispatch and accounting. Facility management of LONG properties in STATE. Monthly progress billings for projects. Assist in monthly accounting software financial adjustments for projects. Ensure that job tax schedules and certified payroll rates are correct and updated as necessary. Issue subcontracts as required and review/approve their invoices. Oversee purchasing and tracking of equipment and parts for services and projects. Establish and maintain cordial and functional relationships with factories and suppliers. Collect stock transfers from inventory and input to the accounting job cost system. Provide general administrative support for the branch. Provide technical and operational support, expertise, leadership, and accountability for the back-end support team. Stand in for support team members in their absence. Manage and advise on hiring, training, development, allocation, and performance assessment of personnel within areas of responsibility. Mange current processes and procedures, while keeping the strategy and high-level goals of the company in mind. Anticipate potential blockers and bring recommendations to the Vice President. Organize and manage regular internal company events and community outreach. Qualifications 2-year business degree and 7 plus years related work experience preferred including technical commercial building services or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literacy with specific experience using MS Office ProductsExcellent written/verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret financial statements and reports. Ability to work with commercial new construction, retrofit, and service contracts. Ability to multitask and accept responsibilityGood organizational and planning skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor. Routine sitting, lifting, bending, and kneeling.
