The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to lead operational execution and drive client satisfaction across our access solutions and shutdown maintenance contracts in the Pilbara/Port Hedland region. With a strong focus on resource management, achieving KPIs, and fostering long-term client partnerships, this role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Reporting directly to the General Manager for Asset Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising project delivery while aligning with Bugarrba's strategic vision.
The role is based in Perth Metro, with frequent travel to project sites. Relocation support is available for the ideal candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and embed a Zero Harm safety culture, focusing on proactive attitudes and behaviors. Ensure seamless delivery of contracted services, meeting or exceeding client expectations. Monitor and manage all contractual KPIs, spearheading monthly contractor and client review meetings. Manage site-level P&L, exercising stringent cost controls and achieving budgetary goals. Demonstrate strong, supportive leadership to engage and inspire teams at all levels. Formulate and implement strategies for business growth, pursuing additional project scopes and opportunities. Identify and drive operational improvements through process optimization and innovative solutions. Oversee asset management, ensuring preventive maintenance aligns with company standards. Cultivate and sustain strong multi-level relationships with clients to enhance trust and collaboration. Provide comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial performance reports. Maximise performance across interconnected mining, industrial, and commercial projects by balancing efficient operations and new business development. Ensure overall execution of operations aligns with budgeted revenue and cost targets.
Our Experience & Skills:
Demonstrated success in P&L and contract management, with a strong record of operational execution. Proven commercial acumen and financial oversight capabilities. Background in scaffolding, access solutions, or related industrial services. Experience managing asset maintenance, logistics, and shutdown work. Extensive leadership experience in roles adhering to stringent health and safety protocols. Strong client relationship-building skills, with a track record of developing high-value partnerships. Competent in using business systems and proficient with relevant digital tools. Superior communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Proven track record in delivering contract KPIs and implementing continuous improvement strategies. Experience servicing shutdown maintenance contracts with tier-one clients across the Pilbara, such as BHP, Fortescue, and Rio Tinto, is highly desirable.About Us:
