Posting Summary
Provide HR, financial, administrative, and operational support within the Grossman School of Business ( GSB ). Performing logistical support to faculty, such as printing and collating class materials and collection and maintenance of syllabi fi les. Perform data entry in the processing of personnel and financial transactions, including data for faculty reviews, expense reports, purchasing card reconciliation, journal entries and budget transfers. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. Provide guidance to staff, faculty and students on University policies and procedures. Initiate personnel transactions related to hiring, recruitment, compensation, and separation. Maintain HR and financial records. Serve as the contact person for building and office requests, such as phones, signage, key/card access, work orders and space maintenance projects, safety/logistics, etc. Provide administrative support for sponsored projects. Provide support to the school’s Business Manager and Assistant Dean of Administration.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field and one to three years of related experience required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat software required. Proficiency with spreadsheet, database and word-processing applications, including editing and proofreading required. Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required. High attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills required. Ability to effectively perform duties within deadline-driven environment, with frequently changing customer demands.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience using PeopleSoft, PeopleAdmin, and Digital Measures software desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range 25.64-28.21

Special Conditions External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
