Job Summary:

The Business Office Assistant oversees the Daily Sales Reports as well as handling issues such as new hire orientation, maintaining files and various other office data entry duties, and reports to the Business Office Manager.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Enter Daily Sales Reports and other data entry information by the required deadlines.Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, its records, and restricted information.Maintain basic knowledge of computer software, Microsoft, and internet applications.Communicates with and greets new hires, assisting them with getting settled into housing.Performs basic new hire orientation by providing parking passes, uniform shirts and name tags.Maintain employee uniforms, parking passes, and name tags.Maintain employee housing room assignments, inspections, check-in and check-out procedures.Ensure that office supplies are maintained, organized, and replenished as needed.Ensure that employees are aware when they have received mail and/or packages.Attend various community events.Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward guests and co-workers.Adhere to all policies and procedures of Guest Services Hourly Handbooks.Perform other duties as assigned.Performs other related duties as directed or required.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

High School Diploma or GED required, with a minimum of 1 year previous experience as an administrative assistant or related field such as accounting/bookkeeping position. Ability to calculate basic mathematical figures.Great interpersonal skills required, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit at a desk for the entire work day.Reading and writing work-related documents in English.Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication.Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 15 lbs. occasionally, up to 30 lbs. seldom.Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp, and manipulate objects.

Typical office equipment (computers, laptop, printer with scanning capabilities, copiers, among others).Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used: goggles and gloves
