Business Office Associate - Full Time MMC Food Services

Position Overview:

Plans, directs and coordinates the business activities of the Food and Nutrition Department.  Prepares and provides reports including corporate sales, benchmarking, productivity, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, statistical and financial analytics.  Contributes to the development of department policies and procedures to provide administrative direction for department efficacies, budgeting, purchasing, staffing and financial direction.

Director – Food and Nutrition

Key Responsibilities: 

Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as typing, bookkeeping, preparation of payroll, flow of correspondence and corporate reporting. Supervises day to day collection and completes accounting reports including statistical and financial reporting. Evaluates office production and revises procedures and devises new processes to improve efficiency and workflow. Generates and submits all financial, statistical benchmarking, productivity, accounts payable, accounts billable and payroll in a timely manner. Formulate procedures for a systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of data, files and records. Completes payroll and maintains time and attendance reports. Prepares summary of labor and non-labor expenses with analysis for team members.  Prepares analysis for all department performance measures for team members. Assess and fields all requests and issues regarding the preparation of department reports, AP, AR labor and non-labor expense. Attending professional meetings and conferences to keep informed of current practices and trends.  Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, conferences and professional affiliations. Maintain effective communication and follow up with all managerial and supervisory team members. Performs patient / team member rounding. Fields calls and requests for the food and nutrition department. Responsible for all other tasks as assigned. Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident occurred.
