The Richmond Campus of Bryant & Stratton College is accepting applications for a full-time Business Office Director.

Bryant & Stratton College’s Business Office Director acts as the campus accounting administrator providing timely management information while controlling campus assets and serves as a valuable resource in the development and achievement of campus operating objectives.  The Business Office Director is responsible for directing and managing the Business Office, IT, and Facility departments, including Campus Security.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Provide the necessary financial controls and reporting mechanisms to assure sound financial data and safeguard of College assets. Monitor and analyze operating expenses to budget and provide monthly updates to managers. Provide control and continuous review of student receivables and develop best practices for collection of student receivables. Prepare Annual Operating and Capital Budget with input from department managers and present to market director. Prepare periodic forecasts based on current enrollment and business operations. Report accurate results and provide intelligent forecasts based on school operating information. Enhance skills and abilities of associates to maximize individual performances. Continue to improve service to all customers (internal and external). Review all purchase order requests ensuring they meet projected budget outcomes and approve/deny/forward as needed. Aid the team structure and assist the campus in meeting retention and operating goals. Manage the technical support for the administrative and student data network. Manage building maintenance and security to provide a safe, clean environment for all customers. Comply with system and inter-company policies, and assist in the development of new models and initiatives. Assist in the influencer activities of the campus. Serve as liaison between campus and system office associates.

Qualifications and Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, business, finance, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Accounting experience required. Prior supervisory and leadership experience a must. Experience and proficiency with incorporating the use of technology. Computer literacy required. Experience with Oracle, GL Connect, Banner and Ultipro a plus. Background check required.
