With a commitment to community integration and celebrating the wisdom of aging, Hearthstone invites residents to live purposefully and enjoy a true sense of family and home. **A Typical Day for a Business Office Manager with Hearthstone:** + Prepare resident invoices and billing statements for all payer sources, including but not limited to private pay, Medicare, Medicaid/Elderly Waiver and healthcare insurance billing. + Research and follow up on billing questions, discrepancies and/or payment shortages. Handle communication with residents, families, insurance carriers and all other third party payers. + Process the bi-weekly payroll, enter all manual corrections to the payroll system, and coordinate all communications with corporate payroll. + Provide support to residents with miscellaneous items such as receipt/explanation of statements, communicating upcoming events, coordinating fundraising activities, answering general inquiries, etc. + Prepare and submit all census reports, miscellaneous resident updates, and any other reports requested by the Executive Director and/or Home Office. Submits all necessary reports from the business office for various state/federal agencies + Assist in the preparation and monitoring of operations budget + Oversee the completion of accounts payable functions completed by support staff to see that deadlines are met, that account coding is appropriate, and that invoices are processed according to policy. + Serves as a back-up to the front reception area for breaks, vacations, and illnesses.
