Riverview Physical Therapy is currently seeking a full time Business Office Manager in the Greater Portland Maine area.
Requirements:
High school graduate, Bachelors degree preferred. Two or more years of patient account management experience in either a hospital or physician practice setting. Basic accounting skills are required.Must have good management, communication, accounting, organizational and interpersonal skills.Must be able to travel between clinic locations as needed.Strong Adaptability, Capability, Communication and Interpersonal skills, Cooperation and initiative, Job knowledge, Organization, Quality of work, and Reliability.Job Duties:
Overall management of Business Office.Ensure all charges, payments, and adjustments are accurately captured, coded and recorded.Ensure claims/statements are generated/mailed Responsible for billing and collecting of all account types in a timely manner and for obtaining accurate reimbursement of all charges generated from patient treatmentResponsible for submitting all completed daily/weekly/monthly reports accuratelyEnsure deposits and money transfers are made daily.Assist with hiring, training and cross training of all Business Office personnel.Ensure that the clinic is staffed in the business office for all hours of operation.Maintain flexibility in working hours to adapt to clinic needs.Maintain and ensure proper retention of all correspondence and administrative files.Ensure proper maintenance and retention of clinical records and assist in ensuring the completeness of the clinical records.Ensure positive public relations when dealing w/patients, referral sources, payors, and fellow employees.Assists with the compilation of statistical reports for the facility.Other duties as assigned.
