Hearthstone is looking for a dedicated Business Office Manager to oversee essential billing, payroll, and administrative functions. **_Hearthstone, located in the heart of Pella, Iowa, is a WesleyLife Community for Healthy Living_** offering a comprehensive range of services including independent living, assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term nursing care across three distinct campuses. We feature an award-winning household model with 16 residents in each home engaging with one another and our greater community. **What You’ll Do as a Business Office Manager:**
+ _Billing and Invoicing:_ Manage the preparation and processing of resident invoices across various payment sources, including private pay, Medicare, Medicaid, Elderly Waiver, and healthcare insurance.
+ _Problem Solving:_ Resolve billing questions, discrepancies, and payment issues while effectively communicating with residents, families, and third-party payers.
+ _Payroll:_ Process bi-weekly payroll, handle manual adjustments, and coordinate with corporate payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
+ _Resident Support:_ Be a go-to resource for residents, helping them understand their statements, coordinating events, assisting with fundraising, and addressing general inquiries.
+ _Reporting and Compliance_ : Prepare census reports, financial updates, and other key documents for internal and external stakeholders, including state and federal agencies.
+ _Budget and Accounts Payable:_ Assist in preparing and monitoring the operational budget, while ensuring accounts payable deadlines are met and procedures followed.
+ _Leadership:_ Serve as part of the leadership team, overseeing the Administrative Office Assistant and contributing to the success of the community.
+ _Collections:_ Manage accounts receivable, issuing payment notices, and following up with residents and families to ensure timely payments.
+ _Administrative Support:_ Provide backup for reception, greet visitors, direct vendors, and assist with tours as needed.

**Compensation:**
+ Salary Range: $59,000 - $75,000. Credit given for years' of experience.
