About the role: 

The Business Operations Analyst is a key player in aligning healthcare business objectives with technical solutions. This role is pivotal in today’s data-driven healthcare business environment where the use of data in problem-solving and decision-making is crucial. They are responsible for managing reporting request/inventory, completing root cause analysis, analyzing professional billing data, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions that meet business needs and priorities. By engaging with stakeholders, they facilitate understanding of how data-driven changes can improve efficiency and add value.

Essential Functions:

Analyzes data, root causes issue and identifies opportunity for improvement.

Collaborates with various stakeholders, including internal/external clients and development teams, to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic roadmap.

Accountable for development, maintenance and/or entry of data of dashboards, KPI’s and reporting

Acts as a bridge between business and technology units, ensuring that data technology solutions align with business objectives.

Understands and breaks down intricate business issues, assessing how automation and data-driven approaches can be implemented to solve them.

Spots areas of inefficiency within revenue cycle operations and recommends enhancements, with a particular focus on data-driven scalability, automation, and agility.

Analyzes business data to inform strategic decisions; presents actionable insights to executives and stakeholders.

Ensures key stakeholders are aware of current or future development activities

Tracks and manages the progression of projects through their lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare financial management, or related field required

2+ years of experience in a healthcare experience in hospital or large physician practice environment

Experience analyzing complex issues and/or requests to provide effective solutions with the ability to identify root cause, communicate options and propose solutions

Experience with technology solutions in the healthcare space

Experience working with development teams and multiple stakeholders to coordinate efforts for the same goal

Experience managing project scope to deliver quality results

Experience working with virtual team members

Preferred Experience:

Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary

Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies

Strong ability to bridge the gap between multiple departments or levels of expertise to effectively communicate outcomes and solutions in a comprehensive and meaningful manner

Strong ability to work cross functionally between department to build relationships and analyze reports or data and presenting it in a way that is comprehensive to all relevant parties

Able to discuss technical solutions

Ability to work independently

Ability to learn quickly and think creatively

Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary

Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies

Hours: 

Full time (40 hours) 

Day Shift 

No weekends 

Location: Full-time Remote
