Business Operations Analyst Opportunity with Vista America – The Business Operations Analyst position supports the optimization of our business operations through process improvement, strategic insights and data analysis. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of operational workflows, strong analytical skills and ability to contribute to the company’s growth and efficiency. This position is based in Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities as a Business Operations Analyst:
Gathering, Collaboration, and Knowledge Sharing
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, goals, and challengesFacilitate workshops and meetings to gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear and actionable specificationsEnsure seamless communication and effective execution of business operationsCommunicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior management and other key stakeholders to enhance business performance, operational efficiency, and cost-effectivenessAct as a liaison between departments to ensure solutions meet business objectives
Data Analysis, Operational Process Optimization, and Reporting
Develop, maintain, audit, and provide regular reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators and operational insights to senior managementPrepare regular reports on operational efficiency and cost managementAnalyze operational data and processes to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvementEnsure data integrity and accuracyEnsure that operational systems are being used effectively to support decision-making and data reportingPresent actionable insights to managementCollect, analyze, and interpret data from various departments to identify trends and opportunitiesMonitor and manage operational workflows to ensure alignment with company goals and objectivesMap and analyze current business processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas where automation or optimization can be applied
Required education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Aviation, Logistics, or a related field2-5 years of experience in business operations, process improvement, and analyticsStrong experience in process improvement, data analysis, and project managementAdvance proficiency in Excel, including familiarity writing Macros, and data visualizations tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Aviation industry experience and understanding of regulations and standardsApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
