Overview This position is responsible for providing analysis and solution of complex business process and technical problems with a focus on improving operational effectiveness and excellence. The Business Operations Analyst will prepare and deliver well-constructed business insights to management, lead teams, and enhance other's understanding of business processes and systems. The ideal candidate is a well-organized self-starter with a passion to optimize the decision-making process through rigorous utilization of data. _(This is a hybrid position that can work our of South Service Center in Louisville or KU General Office in Lexington)_ Responsibilities **_Position may be filled at the Business Ops Analyst I, II, or Senior level based on the successful candidate’s background, education, and experience. Additional responsibilities may be included for higher levels of the role._** + Design, build, integrate, and redesign existing reports for maximum usability. Fulfill requests for new dashboards and reports. + Extract and deliver useful statistics and insight from business data to drive and support operational improvements and business strategies. + Proactively identify and implement solutions and/or strategies that will help the business better achieve its short and long-term business objectives. + Prepare complex financial models and forecasting using advanced modeling techniques. + Responsible for developing high level analyses, recommending courses of action based on data, and presenting to Senior Management. + Develop and research methods for measuring various areas of business performance and compare against trends and best practices. + Review, identify, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business process and supporting systems. + May lead special projects or teams. + Physical presence in the office/on-site to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers. + Assist in storm and emergency roles as assigned to support emergency operations.
