their clients and their clientsrsquo familiesThe Business Operations Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of project oriented tasks to support the operational needs of Hartford Health Care at Home HHCAHThe analyst interprets all pertinent clinical and financial data summarizes issues and examines the market forces to present comprehensive analysesComprehensive analyses will include collation and evaluation of data from a variety of sources drawing conclusions relative to available data and identifying alternative options and recommendations prepare financial and quality impact analysis and prepare final reportsResponsible for overseeing ad hoc analysis in support of various HHC and HHCAH initiativesAnalyze synthesize and interpret clinical and financial data to identify opportunities for process improvementCreate models to forecast business variables and develop Ad Hoc analysis for senior management to assess current and historical trends and potential operational impactDevelop and maintain quality dashboards to continually assess provider performance and identify improvement opportunitiesUtilizes project management knowledge and skills for assigned projects Monitor and report project progress to objectives in timeframe scope quality cost and riskWorks with other areas within HHC such as IT or Decision Support to design systems to allow data to be easy to use and readily accessibleBecome an expert in and resource on the use of EPIC Allscripts eSolutions and other relevant clinical and financial information on systemsRepresent HHCAH on key data and analytical committees within HHCUses knowledge of systems to assist senior management in problem identification resolution options and decision making to improve department efficiency and functioningDevelop ad hoc analysis in support of HHC andor HHCAH initiativesProvides support for Performance Management activities including data analysis report card development and project development and project management supportMinimum QualificationsEducationBABS degree in Health Care Economics Finance Statistics or related fieldExperienceMinimum years of healthcare or business experiencePreferred QualificationsEducationMasters in Healthcare Administration or Masters in Business Administration or equivalent preferredExperienceMinimum years of healthcare or business experienceMinimum years of health care informatics or decision support experiencePrior experience with SCRUMAgile methodologiesKnowledge Skills and Ability RequirementsStrong analytical skills Proven critical thinking and problem solving abilities including resolving complex sometimes multi entity problems requiring innovative solutionsExtensive experience with spreadsheets and database applications Ability to create manipulate and report from various data sources and interpret complex dataAdvanced expertise and experience with hospital information systems and reporting toolComfortable working with large data setsAdvanced Excel and Access ability requiredExperience developing complex multi variable operational forecasts and modelsDemonstrated understanding of project management practices and proceduresExcellent presentation skills and group facilitation skillsThe ability to work within all levels of the organization meet deadlines and work under pressure and in sensitive situationsExcellent communication and organizational skills required to manage multiple projects and timelinesKnowledge of SQL Server SQL Reporting Services QlikView or Tableau highly desiredStrong interpersonal and communication skills essential as well as demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functional areasSuperior analytic and problem solving skillsCustomer
