Business Operations & Reporting Analyst (Supplyframe)

Report To: Sr. Director of Customer Success & Operations | Department: Customer Success and Operations I Location: Remote or Hybrid (Pasadena, CA or Austin, TX) | Travel Required: 10% domestic if remote

What You’ll Be Doing: 


Supplyframe, a Siemens company, is an innovative and rapidly growing leader in the electronics component industry. We are seeking a Business Operations and Reporting Analyst to help drive operational efficiency, customer retention, and revenue growth through data analysis and insights.  Initiative, curiosity, decision-making judgment, business aptitude, and a desire to dig into the data, understand what it’s telling us and be able to translate our metrics into stories that guide our customers to think differently and improve their return on investment.


You will work closely with key business leaders, sales and customer success teams to help define and execute on Supplyframe’s vision and strategy for internal data views and dashboards, customer-facing reports and presentations, and intuitive methodologies for gaining intelligence from the numbers. Additionally, you will help identify opportunities to improve our current reporting capabilities, but also help develop new solutions to accelerate business growth through data, analytics, and insights. You will be a critical member of the team and working closely with stakeholders across the organization to successfully deliver to internal teams and customers. 


Track customer engagement metrics and product performance by developing and leveraging various reporting channels. Be comfortable with data and be able to use critical reasoning to make recommendations both internally and externally to customers.

Analyze complex datasets with a curious eye, identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies to provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations for decision-making.

Support Customer Success Managers in creating business review presentations and data analyses to translate data into stories that facilitate customer discussions and strategic planning efforts.  Engage directly with customers as needed to discuss campaign analytics and trends.

Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for internal and external use while providing support for ad hoc reporting requests.

Review, audit, and summarize operational data and provide executive summaries with business recommendations.

Define and develop reporting standards and operational roadmap that aligns closely with business growth strategies to ensure successful scalability. Define, develop, and deploy operations measurement framework.

Work in collaboration with 3rd party software partners on the collection, segmentation and reporting of our digital audience. 

Create business requirements documents to support creation of new measurement capabilities. Work collaboratively across the organization to influence, align, and deliver on these capabilities.

Collaborate with internal teams to support A/B testing data collection and reporting results to aid optimization of our advertising campaign performance across the Supplyframe network.

Who/What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related fields.

5-7 years of experience in business operations analytics capacity; experience with sales operations, e-commerce, digital marketing, and/or digital media is a plus.


Intermediate to expert knowledge in Tableau, Excel and SQL; working knowledge of Python, R, web analytics tools and familiarity with Salesforce reporting is a plus.

Ability to work with complex and large scale structured and unstructured data sets to analyze and extract business insights.

A strategic thinker that is able to analyze information to recommend improvements and answer key business questions cross-functionally.

Demonstrated attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across the organization.

Ability to thrive in a demanding environment while prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.

Passion for facilitating internal and external customer satisfaction.

Curious nature, filled with initiative, addicted to follow-through.

Preferred, But Not Required: 

An understanding of the global electronics industry and/or supply chain.

Good understanding of digital media channels and digital media measurement frameworks.

Project management experience. 



The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 and is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
