Beacon Hill's client in Downtown Saint Paul, MN is looking to add a new addition to their internal Business Operations team. The Business Operations Representative is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and performing a variety of support activities, including assisting with Life Policy Administration, New Business, Annuity Policy Administration, and reinsurance cases.
- Dowtown St. Paul - full time onsite
- Salary: $20 per hour
- Schedule: 8am-4:45pm (45 minute unpaid lunch)
Key ResponsibilitiesPolicy Services, New Business, and Annuity Support (55%)
Perform a variety of support activities across Policy Services, New Business, and Annuity Services.Sort and distribute system-generated and manually prepared outputs to clients, advisors, and imaged files.Review and share system reports with internal business partners.Process and distribute output for clients, Life Policy Administration, Claims, Annuities, and Systems Administration.Reply to customer emails for document requests.Life Insurance Policy and Annuity Assembly (40%)
Assemble new life insurance policies and reissued policy pages, preparing them for distribution to advisors or clients.Sort policy documents to ensure correct delivery to the advisor, insured, policy owner, and home office.Use internal system to manage outstanding requirements, policy mailing and delivery dates, and underwriting expiration dates.Forward completed policies by mail within daily deadlines.Update home office files with all document copies, ensuring imaging if necessary.Reinsurance and Electronic File Assembly
Prepare client files for distribution to reinsurance partners.Monitor and respond to incoming emails and referrals, ensuring timely notification and assembly of electronic client files.Transmit electronic client files to the appropriate reinsurance company.QualificationsProduct Knowledge: Solid understanding of Individual Life products, related processes, and procedures within Operations Support, Life New Business, Underwriting, and Policy Administration.Technical Skills: Proficiency in systems such as Client Foundation System, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with colleagues and internal departments.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in assembling life insurance policies, handling return mail within regulatory timelines, and processing output.Organization: Strong planning and prioritization skills to manage workload and adapt to changing priorities.Independence and Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently when appropriate and seek guidance when needed. 1400575_1735919950 To Apply for this Job Click Here
