Business Operations Supervisor – Interior

In this position... 

Seeking an exceptional candidate to apply technical, strategy and leadership skills along with a business operations acumen in a challenging role. This role will collaborate across functional teams both within and outside of Interior Systems. Responsibilities include serving as Business Operations Lead and Chief of Staff. Candidate must have the ability to develop, manage and leverage professional relationships across all organizations within the company (Vehicle Engineering, Software, Program Mgt, Planning, Resource Planning, Finance, Supply Chain Mgt, Manufacturing, etc), and translate Director objectives into actionable plans, mapping them to the Global Interior functional team.

You'll have... 

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field

· Experience leading a team

· 5+ years with progressive responsibilities in program management and related business operations roles

· Experience implementing business strategy for organizations, generating roadmaps, and overseeing implementation

· Need a well-developed business acumen in Engineering Processes (D&R - hardware, To4, FEDE BOM, etc) and hardware engineering strategy

· Exceptional leadership and communication skills

· Experience with presenting and driving alignment with members of Senior Level Mgt

· High degree of initiative, independent work, and confidence

· Well-developed negotiation skills

· Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision making in a fast-paced environment

· Self-driven to research and investigate new concepts to solve difficult problems

· Ability to manage complex global teams and workload with a proven record of delivery

· Proven record of building a network of strong working relationships

Preferred Requirements:

· Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration

· 5+ years Business Operations experience

· Experience with establishing processes and managing large scale tasks and budgets

· Exposure and interaction with the Executive Leadership Team

· Passion to drive change, improve Time to Engineer, and reduce "time to market"

· Passion to drive efficiency and personnel development within your direct team and across the global organization

Business Operations Resource Planning Budget management (headcount, purchased services, material, ED&T, OT, travel, etc) HR system management - org structure, personnel metadata mat, global structure optimization, etc Cycle Plan analysis Finance Team Liaison (Process Implementation, Compliance, Execution) ED&T Model Development and management Resource Model Updates and Management Workload studies for all program content changes to support PDRP and cycle plan development Training Lead training (planning and execution) for the Global Interior Organization Track team progress to objectives and communicate status Facilities/Warehouse management SharePoint Management Employee Onboarding

Chief of Staff

Day to Day Operations management for the Director Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives Annual Objective alignment and KPI development/monitoring/reporting Draft, coordinate, and send mass communications on behalf of the Interior Director Work closely with the VHE Business Office to create feedback loop between Director and VP Lead Interior organization through annual internal security audit/Control
Testing/MCRP Support/Plan Director All Hands Meetings and Technical Reviews for Advanced Applications.

Engineering Strategy

Develop and lead strategic/organizational cultural related efforts Lead Reorg/Structure/Headcount optimization efforts Director Special Project Leadership

Program Delivery/GPDS

Supporting engineering with FEDE management and best practice process development 30-60-90 Day program timing/milestone look ahead management Support engineering team to understand and deliver GPDS milestones with quality, on time delivery, by supporting development of best practices and efficient tools to support these workstreams.

 

 

Engineering Efficiency

Define and develop workplans to support VP cascaded targets and initiatives. Develop areas of key interest and plan of execution to obtain desired results based on Director Priorities
