We are seeking a Business Partner Manager to join our team. In this role you will be developing and securing new strategic business partnerships with subcontractor agencies and representing the organization to network and build new goals and initiatives in our industry.

The Role

Develop and execute strategy for discovering and securing new business partners; locally, regionally, and nationallyBuild long term strategic relationships with new and existing partnersPerform ongoing market research to identify new outreach opportunitiesRepresent the organization in partner facing meetings and industry networking eventsPartner with internal operations leadership teams to align efforts with organizational goals and initiativesPromote the organization to potential new partners, predicting and addressing inquiries and objectivesComplete on-going reach outs and cold calls, utilizing various resources for sourcing; personal networks, social media, blogs/forums, passive searches, industry specific organizations/platforms, Google/Boolean etc.Participate in the successful onboarding of new business partnersProvides first-hand exposure to new company initiatives and strategic market acquisitionsOccasional travel as needed +/- 10% annually (approximately 1 week per month or less)Other items as assigned Requirements 5+ years of telecommunication/cable/fiber/satellite/underground construction industry experience requiredStrong knowledge of subcontractor community in local marketPrior experience in a business development, sales or client-facing role a plusStrong desire to “win” by setting and achieving goalsHigh energy professional who is not afraid to make cold calls and network to build new relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work nights and/or weekends occasionally as neededAbility to travel as needed +/- 10% annually (approximately 1 week per month or less)Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; social media and other relevant platformsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong ability to self-motivate, multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlinesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to build and cultivate positive relationships with internal and external customersAbility to work independently and cross-functionallyChampion a positive environment as a TAK team memberAbility to work indoors, sitting at a desk, utilizing computer equipmentValid driver’s licensePassing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
