Job Summary
This Business Performance Analyst, in Grid Resiliency, will provide support and analysis for several programs that fall under the company’s Grid Transformation Plan. The analyst will support reliability analysis, program budgets and regulatory filings to ensure accurate reporting of programs such as Voltage Optimization, Mainfeeder Hardening, and Intelligent Grid Devices.
Define and develop performance metrics, analyze and recommend data collection process improvements, and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics. Support reporting and interrogatory responses for the Virginia State Corporation Commission and the North Carolina Utilities Commission. Use analytical reasoning to uncover trends, discover opportunities for improvement and design innovative solutions for business challenges. Perform necessary data management procedures to prepare datasets for analysis, including data collection, cleansing, validation and storage. Design, build and maintain user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate complex data through clear visualizations and intuitive layouts Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies. Perform varied analyses of an economic, business, and engineering nature, including cost/benefit analyses.
This position will be filled either at the mid or senior level based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. Complexity of assignments, expectations, and responsibilities increase based on level.

Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making. Ability to communicate technical details clearly to non-technical audiences Effective analytical skills. Strong computer skills. Strong Knowledge of Excel, Access and SQL preferred. Knowledge of Alteryx and/or PowerBI preferred.
