We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Portfolio Manager to join the team

The Business Portfolio Manager will\:

Business Portfolio Manager for EP division working with NASA LD and Analysis team Runs monthly PM reviews for each of the technical domains in EP for all projects Runs monthly TCSR pre reviews for all projects in EP Runs quarterly Division project review, including creating the list of projects that will present, agenda’s, templates and pre work to assist PM’s in preparation for discussion. Produces business reports to summarize FTE and financial data that is presented at CCB weekly. Produces business reports to summarize FTE, Financial data including all direct and indirect funding to monthly EP1 status meeting. Generates guidance for FTE charging. Supports development and Maintenance for Project phasing plans. Generates Task orders for the Division and supports TMR’s with coordinating review inputs, task order changes. Actively uses PM reviews and Pre TCSR’s to support PM’s and proper reporting on project status including schedule, cost and technical aspects.  Will get trained on Smart Sheets and be the owner for the division on this system for use in project management activities including Project reporting to EA, TCSR’s, PM functions and financial data inputs. Using Smart Sheets and other tools, generate custom reports on project status to PM’s, Branch management views and Division level views. Generate and maintain Project templates for quarterly Division reporting on project status.  This is in power point now, however needs to transition to Smart sheets. Creating data analytics for reporting and decisions including FTE allocation vs hiring and losses, Financial forecast for future years including WYE forecast per domain and to indicate bench strength in domain areas.  Use of Smart sheets or other data analytics to show custom reports for branch and division management. Creates data analytics for use of Indirect and OH resources to help division make financial decisions based on funding levels available to support project risk. *

Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and may be expected to have a related master’s degree and normally possess 10-15 years of related experience. Expert knowledge using MS excel Experience using NASA budget tools and processes Experience using MS Project Experience with or willing to get trained on Project Management and the tools used including earned value management.

 Requisition Preferences\:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization skills Strong meeting management skills Strong team membership skills Must be on site in B15 (situational telework only). Project Engineering or Aerospace background preferred Financial Analysis preferred

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
