GDIT is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst that will:
Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and fit with company/customer system architecture standardsResponsible for ensuring requirements include validation criteria which reasonably covers all areas necessary for complete testing of the new functionalityResponsible for capturing, analyzing and developing requirements documents and other project related artifacts associated with designated projectAssist in developing the product roadmapVerify completion of requirements with customer and service providers, ensuring expectations are appropriately metDevelop processes which leverage existing MicroPact Entellitrak capabilities to satisfy customer requirementsParticipate in customer-facing meetings to facilitate discussions program initiativesInterview and interface with key stakeholders to obtain needed business requirementsWork with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize the backlogCreate documentation to support and describe business initiativesDocuments workflows and processes based on business requirementsSupport the collection and reporting of requirements related metricsResearch, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processesAssists in establishing and documenting a tailored strategy quality plan for the performance of quality assurance activities for assigned project or taskDevelops and maintains standardized quality assurance documentation to include quality metrics. Ensures documentation complies with standards, policies and procedures or best practicesConducts assessments and evaluations through analysis and interpretation of objective and subjective evidence to verify compliance to standards and applicable quality plans. Reports findings; escalates unresolved issues to appropriate levelEvaluates work products to assess quality and reports findings. Researches alternative solutions to problems, determines proper approaches and makes verbal and/or written recommendations to appropriate partiesRequired Experience and Skills
Experience developing and maintaining system lifecycle documentation with applications or operationsExperience working with business processes, service delivery and change controlExperience developing business processes and business analysis experience in a system engineering or software application environmentExcellent knowledge of best practices and an understanding of industry trends and difficultiesExcellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiencesDesired Experience
Experience working with COTS products, specifically MicroPact entellitrakExperience using ticket systems such as SNOW, JIRA or Confluence desiredExcellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sourcesAbility to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authorityWorks well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environmentQUALIFICATIONS:
