We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Process & Artifact Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will administer an in-house application designed for traceability of business processes to other key business artifacts. You will also be responsible for capturing, creating, and maintaining documentation, including risks and controls, for business processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide clear, structured, and accessible documentation that supports a clear understanding of managing business process risks and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards (i.e., Sarbanes-Oxley), and company policies. Your expertise and growth will help ensure that all processes, workflows, and artifact traceability are well-documented, accurate, and minimize risks to drive operational success.
Administer an in-house application designed for traceability of business processes to other key business artifacts, as well as attending and participating in strategic implementation and enhancement of the application over its lifetime. Training and ongoing guidance will be provided by leadership.Create and document current-state and future-state business processes using process mapping tools (e.g., flowcharts, SIPOC) to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with risk mitigation strategies.Map, analyze, and maintain business processes that utilize Oracle systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including the identification of risks.Maintain accurate documentation of business processes, risk assessments, controls, and mitigation strategies. Ensure all documents are clear, up-to-date, and accessible for stakeholders. Manage version control, approval workflows, and ensure that outdated documents are properly archived.Ensure that business processes comply with relevant industry regulations, internal policies, and standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO) to maintain regulatory adherence.Continuously monitor the performance of business processes to ensure they are operating as intended and that risk mitigation strategies are effective.Promote the adoption of process design standards across teams and departments to ensure best practices and consistency across the organization.Assist in communicating changes to business processes, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of risk mitigation strategies across the organization.Support development and training to ensure understanding and adoption of new or updated processes.Participate in cross-functional projects related to process improvements, technology implementations, and other organizational initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in business process management, risk management, process improvement, or a related role.High attention to detail with a focus on delivering clear, accurate, and actionable process designs and documentation.Proficiency in process mapping and design tools such as Microsoft Visio, or similar software. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with various levels of stakeholders.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or similar certifications are a plus.Benefits & Perks:
