As a member of the Petrochemicals, North America (CPN) team, will be responsible for implementing global projects and provide digital solutions which improve business processes and support the organization through master data management and continuous improvement activities. These solutions will focus on process and masterdata standardization, simplification and effectiveness. You should be comfortable challenging the status quo and taking pride in identifying optimal solutions to improve overall business performance. You will have ownership for enhancing the value to our stakeholders and customers in collaboration with global teams in support of digital initiatives. **As a Business Process Excellence Specialist - Houston TX., you create chemistry by...** + Analyzing our existing processes, tools, and infrastructure to understand and challenge our “As-Is” approaches, identify opportunities/gaps, and ideate enhancements to our “To-Be” Roadmap for process optimization + Creating value by building cross functional and operational expertise, optimizing Business Processes (i.e. Order to Cash, Planning, Procure to Pay, Manufacturing, etc.) enhancing usage of current systems/tools and implementing new solutions which improve the efficiency and/or effectiveness of our operational responsibilities. + Leading as PMO for master data related and continuous improvement projects and planned upgrades to BASF’s SAP system and IT infrastructure. Upon final project approval, act as the Master Data lead for our ERP transition from R/3 to S/4HANA + Representing the N.A. regional and global expert communities and complimentary projects which advance Petrochemicals digital roadmap – examples include Integrated Planning (OMP), S&OP Process, Masterdata management/creation, SalesForce, Sustainability, etc. initiatives + Creating a sustainable knowledge management system which ensures successful process standardization, employee onboarding and organizational upskilling + Serving as a liaison between various business functions such as Planning, Product management, Customer Service, Operations & Controlling for all master data related activities including special projects (NGBA rollout, Sustainability, DSC) and resolve change management issues. + Utilizing your strong interpersonal skills (presentation, negotiations, influencing) to balance conflicting interests across functional communities and 3rd parties, such as Global IT, Business Services, Supply Chain, Business Management, Controlling, and Operations, vendors, and service providers + Being able to understand challenges, assist local users, and drive improvement as a change agent in and for CPN community. **If you...** + Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Systems/Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field (Strongly preferred) or a very strong record of Certifications and Expert credentials(such as APIC, CPIMS, CSCP, SAP, etc.) + Have at least 5 years of experience in Information Technology Systems related activities with strong experience with SAP R/3 and/or S4 HANA. + Have operational experience with Business Processes (OTC, Planning, P2P, etc.) and their implementation in SAP including design, testing(UAT), deployment, and sustaining **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
