Business Process Managing Consultant

What You Will Do:

The Process Improvement Manager will be responsible for helping to plan and implement various efforts related to business process mapping, improvement strategy and implementation, data analysis, and associated change and communication elements. The consultant will collaborate closely with the client to execute activities such as stakeholder interviews, program evaluations, gap analysis, effectiveness assessments, data collection and analysis, research, and report drafting.

The individual will coordinate with a diverse groups of client stakeholders to facilitate project progress, and help design, plan, and execute deliverables that promote stakeholder buy-in and ensure successful adoption of project goals. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for the client to gather input and coordinate with other team members to ensure project activities are appropriately meeting both internal team member and external client expectations.

Develop business process improvement recommendations and best practices, and translate these ideas into high-level graphics and documents to be briefed to key government stakeholders

Conduct operational effectiveness assessments and communicate results and recommendations to key government stakeholders

Conduct data gathering and analysis, including gap analysis and interviews

Work with government client to understand their workforce and recommend the skills workers need to advance within the organization and how to provide appropriate professional development opportunities

Hold regular meetings with client to gather information regarding existing business processes, staffing, and program objectives

Collaborate with team to create deliverables that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for improving client’s human capital practices

Present recommendations to clients in meetings and facilitate discussions on those items

Develop and implement change management and communications strategies for client


What You Will Need:

Minimum of FIVE (5) years of relevant experience within business process re-engineering:

Experience in business process review and gap analysis experience for federal, state and local entities that process eligibility determination, and supports the issuance of benefit services and/or payments.

Experience leading BPR services

Minimum one (1) year of experience utilizing Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) 2.0 methodology

Completed bachelor’s degree from a accredited University

What Would Be Nice To Have:

One (1) project working with the California Department

One (1) project associated with unemployment insurance and/or disability insurance benefit programs

One (1) year of experience performing government policy impact analysis

Possession of a master’s degree Current certification as a Certified Business Analyst through International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or the Project Management Institute (PMI)

Business process review and gap analysis experience for federal, state and local entities that process eligibility determination, and supports the issuance of benefit services and/or payments.

leading BPR services with a minimum project value of $4,000,000

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Preference will be given to candidates who reside within a reasonable number of miles of a GH office

The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
