The department of Neurology has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Business Process & Operations Analyst to work at UHealth. The Business Process & Operations Analyst provides planning, project management, data analytics and operational support for system wide operational initiatives. Key responsibilities of this role include data analytics, creation of materials/content for executive leadership and overall communications support. This job assists in the development and evaluation of strategic and operational plans and evaluates programs for conformance to the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

The business process & operations analyst position will report directly into the Department of Neurology and support departmental initiatives and functions, as well as clinical and administrative leadership within Neurology.

Statistical analysis, comfort with predictive modeling not required for the departmental role

Excels in data management, analysis and visualization of clinical and financial data, including patient visit level, billing and utilization data.

Resourceful in learning new systems and functionalities, including ad-hoc report building and management of work queues within the EHR and Business Intelligence systems.

Performs administrative duties including meeting scheduling, agenda setting, distribution management and minutes for key clinical and operational discussions.

Supports the clinical operation as needed, including working directly with clinicians, liaising with patients, management of concierge programs within the department and responding to in-basket messages.

Investigate and close out erroneous encounters as needed.

Review of Power BI reports.

Liaison with billing and coding groups to optimize charge capture opportunities.

Management of Department provider profiles in Kyruus.

Assessment and distribution of key data points including patient experience data, compliance with national quality programs.

Distribution of provider reports for compliance on encounter completion and closing of in-basket messages.

Track of provider leave on shared calendar.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.

Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.

Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.

Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.

Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)

Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
