You will articulate business requirements, conducting research and analysis, assessing existing and proposed processes, contributing to the development of test plans, and implementing operational change within the Enterprise Operations Policyholder Tax team. You will support the tax administration of the life insurance business line but may be asked to support other business lines, as needed. You will work with IT teams to ensure that process and system changes are implemented. You will report directly to the Director of Policyholder Tax.
What you do:
Lead large-scale change projects representing the business needs and regulatory requirements associated with the tax administration of life insurance policies and/or annuity contracts. Topics include cost basis, taxable gain (MEC and non-MEC), federal and/or state withholding requirements, 1099 reporting. Accountable for end-to-end change management within the department for projects, as assigned. This includes developing and documenting processes, designing flowcharts, identify and implement control touchpoints. Establish and maintain strong relationships with project members, key stakeholders, process owners, control consultants, and other key partners. Provide training and subject-matter expertise/support to employees. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve customer or process-related issues.
What you bring:
