**The Opportunity**
The Business and Product Analyst at AGI Digital will play a pivotal role within the Product Management team, focusing on enhancing our innovative solutions, including BinManager, Farmobile, and Hazard Monitoring systems. This position involves analyzing market trends, third party research data, customer needs, and product performance to drive strategic decision-making and product development.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and other product management staff to gather insights, define product opportunities, and ensure that our offerings meet the evolving demands of the agricultural sector. A key aspect of this role includes preparing compelling PowerPoint presentations, business cases, and written strategic recommendation documents to communicate findings and proposals effectively to stakeholders. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of AGI's product portfolio. This position reports directly to the SVP of AGI Digital, placing you at the heart of our mission to grow and excel.
**Responsibilities** :
As a Business and Product Analyst at AGI, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our product offerings, particularly BinManager, Farmobile, and Hazard Monitoring systems. Your analytical expertise and strategic insights will help shape product development and enhance business operations, particularly in the agricultural technology (Ag Tech) sector. By supporting the adoption of innovative technology practices on farms, you will empower customers and dealers to optimize their operations and improve productivity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating findings will ensure that our products meet market demands and exceed growth objectives.
**Other aspects of the role include:**
Market Analysis: Conduct and compile thorough research and data on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform product development and positioning strategies for BinManager, Farmobile, and Hazard Monitoring systems.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Analyst and evaluate product performance metrics and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Prepare detailed written reports and presentations that highlight insights and actionable recommendations for the Product Management team.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to gather knowledge and ensure other functional plans, strategies and work efforts are aligned to Business Unit goals and timelines.
Presentation Development: Create engaging PowerPoint presentations and business cases that effectively communicate findings, strategic recommendations, and product updates to stakeholders and leadership. Sort and compile presentations and source materials in a secure and well organized knowledge repository.
Product Improvement: Collaborate with other Product Management team members to define and document product requirements, ensuring that new features and enhancements align with research learning, customer expectations and business objectives.
Strategic Recommendations: Develop and present strategic recommendations based on data analysis and market insights, helping to guide product direction and investment decisions.
User Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with UI/UX design staff and gather and analyze user feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for enhancing the user experience across AGI’s product offerings.
Research Project Management: Manage and source research data by leveraging both primary and syndicated research sources. This includes designing surveys, conducting interviews, and analyzing existing market reports to gather comprehensive insights that inform product strategy.

**Qualifications**
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
**Experience and Skills:** 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, product management, or a related role, preferably within the agricultural technology (Ag Tech) sector.
Proven experience in analyzing market trends and customer needs to inform product development.
**Knowledge, skills and abilities:**
+ Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience using tools like Excel, Salesforce, or other analytics platforms to derive insights.
+ Familiarity with product management software and tools (Confluence, Jira), as well as experience in conducting user research and surveys.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
+ Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing effective solutions.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, fostering a cooperative environment to achieve common goals.
+ Understanding of agricultural technology practices and trends, with a passion for supporting the adoption of innovative solutions on farms.
+ Strong experience in creating engaging presentations and business cases that effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
