THE JOB:
As a Business Services Clerk, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your approachable, and personable demeanor, coupled with your dedication to provide delightful experiences will set the stage for the memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us. By delivering top-notch guest experiences, assisting guests with the shipping, and receiving of packages, performing counter service functions and maintaining presentability, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience.
THE STARTING RATE: $16.50
THE SCHEDULE: Part Time
Hours of Operation:
Mon - Fri: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sat - Sun: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Cultivate premium guest experiences assisting guests through phone calls and emails
Efficiently process and document all stored inventories of courier and drop-off parcels
Provide guest assistance in the processing and reviewing of all shipping and receiving
Ensure proper security and accuracy when releasing packages or facilitating delivery of packages
Ensure correct charges and credits are posted, collect payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and demonstrate responsibility in balancing all cash and cash equivalent transactions
Perform the counter service functions including but not limited to: sending and receiving faxes, photocopying, computer workstation rentals, laptop, workstation printing, selling & promoting of retail items and collecting guest email addresses
Assist guests with workstation personal computer functions including Internet usage
Maintain interdepartmental communication and support services with Sales, Convention Services, Special Events and the Mail Center
Provide assistance and information for inquiries regarding business activities and locations of in-house or city-wide conventions
Facilitate exhibit, meeting and function set-ups in regard to package, freight and equipment delivery
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Has prior experience with office functions such as photocopying, faxing, printing, laminating, packing, labeling, and shipping packages
Prior experience with Forbes guest service standards in a hotel/resort setting.
Has a flexible schedule and ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Previous customer service experience in a retail setting
Polished appearance and presentability
Bilingual
