Business Services Sr Coordinator Job ID 207615 Posted 26-Feb-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Administrative, Health and Safety/Environment Location(s) Melbourne - Florida - United States of America **About the role:** The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. This position will provide Operations and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) support. **What you'll do:** + May prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software. + Perform safety inspections and lead fire drills. + Act as point of contact for incident reporting and manage safety documentation. + May create a wide variety of template, company-sanctioned marketing materials that may include maps, advertisements, demographic reports, and executive summary brochures for in-house and client presentations using advanced desktop, graphic, and mapping software. + May conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by executives, committees, and boards of directors. + May read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution. + May perform technical duties such as working with multi-media software, setting up Audio Visual equipment, initiating video conferences, or operating phones or the Internet. + May open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email. + May file and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports. + May perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work. + May answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages. + Other duties may be assigned. **What You'll Need:** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree preferred, Minimum 4 years of related experience. + Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Experience with Microsoft Suite is needed. + Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. + Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. + Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages. + Ability to solve problems in standard situations.
