How you will create an impact
This is a critical front-line role in driving continuous system improvements, supporting both internal and external stakeholders as they use our primary electronic distribution platform.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
+ Responsible / accountable for delivering first level service, support and incident resolution for technology insurance platform supporting personal and commercial insurance (and its associated infrastructure and integration points with external providers), leveraging corporate service management tools and workflow processes.
+ Supports issues resolution and technical trouble shooting on behalf of the business users and in collaboration with IT.
+ For Business Support, prioritize, raise and follow up enhancements and defects to resolution in the agreed timeline.
+ Provide support to BAs in analysing, defects and enhancements, interpreting user requirements to provide an initial assessment of the required work.
+ Track, monitor and regularly update stakeholders during an incident’s lifecycle through to its resolution.
+ Create and execute test plans, retest fixes as necessary.
+ Attend test planning meetings as required.
+ Provide, maintain, and continuously enrich User guides/manuals, FAQ guides and other knowledge documentation.
+ Provide system updates, release notes in respect of IT Systems
+ Approve production releases, negotiate downtime as necessary.
+ Manage team support inboxes.
+ Obtain user group approval for enhancements as required.
+ Ensure adherence to internal governance and compliance procedures, policies, and guidelines.
+ Participate in operational audits, disaster recovery and business continuity exercises, when required.
What you’ll need to succeed
+ At least 3 years’ experience as a customer service/support team lead in either the General Insurance or Financial Services sector
+ Good insurance knowledge
+ Experience in supporting browser-based technology platforms
+ Proven ability to work on multiple issues concurrently, delivering in accordance with customer expectations.
+ Excellent stakeholder management skills
+ Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Strong analytical skills
