Business Strategy & Engagement Manager, WWPS
Description The AWS Global Education team is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and diligent business developer who can deliver on cross-functional projects while aligning with team goals.. The ideal candidate understands business problems and has the ability to prevent or mitigate customer challenges. You should be able to look at the bigger business picture and drive outcomes by understanding relevant business requirements. The Business Development Manager, Global Education will work with sales, business development, and product teams to aggregate customer trends and needs across the globe, determine best practices that will inform and support cross functional stakeholders’ go to market motions, and deliver regular reviews of the business in a clear and compelling way. The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, and has experience in project management. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is a self-starter, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams, partners, and management. Key job responsibilities • Partner with cross functional teams to drive process optimization, standardization and implementation of programs • Communicate regularly with Stakeholders and identify relevant KPIs to track and report the health status of the program • Relay market needs and customer feedback to internal Amazon teams including Product Management and Technical Support • Lead and advocate business opportunities to the VP level • Solve for complex problems independently • Design and implement solutions that remove manual process and enable stakeholders to manage the business more effectively • Execute high priority (i.e. cross functional, high impact) projects to improve operations performance • Plan resourcing, analyze and report weekly and monthly metrics; identify trends and opportunities to improve processes • Deliver results for customers by creating scalable, long-term mechanisms to drive product features, to deliver customer-focused products and solutions. • Measure performance, articulate root-cause analysis and make recommendations for improvement area • Assess risks, anticipate challenges and provide escalation management when necessary • Serve as a key influencer in developing and auditing business strategy, and monitoring key metrics, seller feedback, and learnings to deliver programmatic optimizations • Review and implement program and process optimization • Prepare timely, clear, concise, and insightful narratives and executive reports synthesizing key results, trends, customer anecdotes, and recommendations About the team Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on a mission to accelerate the digital transformation of education in partnership with the full education community, including learners, educators, administrators, and researchers.
