A client of Kforce's in Denver, Colorado (CO) is looking to hire a Business Subject Matter Expert for a 7-month contract. Candidates must be local to Colorado but will be working remote, no relocation available. Overview: The Business SME brings proven, specialized experience from related organizations as well as system integration and technology experience. Expertise could include various technologies and roles, including SME in product and software or functional areas. In this role, you will use a variety of manual and automated techniques to ensure that documents comply, at a minimum, with all applicable accessibility criteria. Key Responsibilities: * Use Adobe Acrobat, CommonLook, and similar tools to remediate PDF documents to ensure compliance with accessibility standards; ensure that complex documents meet or exceed all applicable standards * Other document remediation assignments could include web pages, Microsoft Office documents * Use assistive technologies, such as screen readers (such as JAWS, Narrator, or NVDA), to manually ensure that document experiences are equitable and functional * Support and fulfill accessibility accommodation requests from external stakeholders * Track and report on progress and activities related to document remediation * Monitor and review updated or new accessibility and document standards as appropriate
