Primary Duties
1. May serve as the primary region/department contact person for operating and maintenance budgets, capital project forecasts and related issues.
2. May enter, retrieve, and analyze data in financial/project management systems.
3. May answer questions, provide information, and advise business stakeholders regarding budgets, forecasts, variances, project statuses, and other requested data.
4. Communicates with internal and external partners such as operations, engineering, finance, contractors, and consultants.
5. Monitors, investigates, analyzes, and explains budget forecasts and variances as required. Resolves discrepancies between various data sources.
6. Identifies, evaluates, develops, and conducts training, as needed, to ensure the consistent application of administrative and financial practices, policies, and procedures.
7. Assists in completing and maintaining accurate records and reports to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
8. May be responsible for supporting various division initiatives or projects.
9. May be responsible for the day-to-day service center office operations, including meeting or event coordination, communication, invoice review/processing, and calendar management.
10. May organize and provide data for the annual budget cycle.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Experience Level:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; or equivalent.
Computer Skills:
Requires ability to utilize the Company's database systems and available resources for data entry, reference and/or retrieval tasks.
Requires working knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point to create documents, reports, and/or graphics.
Numeric Skills:
Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.
Communication Skills:
Requires the ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information.
Physical Demands:
Requires performing activities including, but not limited to, sitting, standing, using office equipment, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and/or lifting.
Work Conditions:
Works in an office environment. May require travel to other offices, including possible overnight travel.
