Huntington IT Finance is seeking an experienced Business System Analyst Lead with a strong background in data analysis to join our team.  The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing and improving business processes, systems, and data flow

You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create system specifications, and use data-driven insights to enhance business performance

Key Responsibilities

Analyze data in existing business systems, processes, and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvementCollaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and propose optimized solutionsTranslate business data requirements into technical specifications- and system designsCollect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and business insightsDesign and develop interactive reports and dashboards to support business decision – makingCreate and maintain data models, perform ad-hoc queries, and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysisPerform quality checks on data used by various regulatory schedulesServe as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams on data expectationsConduct workshops and presentations to ensure understanding on data alignment across departmentsAssist in the design and implementation of business process automation solutionsPerform other duties as assigned

Key Skills:

Proven experience as a Business System Analyst or Data Analyst, with strong understanding of regulatory dataExperience with business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g. Visio, UML)Strong understanding of using SQL for querying databasesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholdersAnalytical mindset, with attention to detail and problem-solving skillsFamiliar with by Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree5+ years of experience in business system analysis or data analysis, preferably in a financial industry environment
