Description

A Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for analyzing and improving business processes, identifying technology solutions, and ensuring that systems meet the needs of the organization. Their role bridges the gap between business operations and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:** Collaborate with stakeholders to gather solution requirements and translate them into user storiesProcess Analysis:** Analyze current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose efficient and effective solutionsSystem Design:** Work with technical teams to design, implement, and enhance business systems and applications.Testing & Validation:** Ensure systems meet business needs through functional testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing.Documentation:** Create clear and comprehensive documentation for business processes, system workflows, and project requirements.Stakeholder Communication:** Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.Data Analysis:** Analyze data to support decision-making, identify trends, and improve operational efficiency.Training & Support:** Provide training and support to end users on new or updated systems and processes.Continuous Improvement:** Recommend and implement changes to optimize business operations and ensure systems remain up-to-date.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience as a BSA.3 years working with MS Office Suite  (Excel, Word, etc)3 years gathering/writing requirementsExperience working directly with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Java, Angular, Azure DevOps.Knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques (eg root cause analysis, gap analysis, SWOT, business process mapping). Experience in writing requirements using Gherkin.Banking/Financial Industry work experience.
