Group Technology Overview

Group Technology (GT) is a central technology function sitting within Informa’s Global Support division.  It manages, supports and delivers technology services for all Informa divisions. Responsibilities include Architecture, Product Platform Delivery, Programme and project delivery, Infrastructure, Application support and development, Security Operations and Service Management.

Under a new Group Technology leadership team, we are looking to improve maturity across all technical capabilities to help grow and thrive into the future. At the heart of that goal is the need to embark on a transformational journey to deliver a step change across our systems, culture and ways of working to support the strategic aspirations of the Group - as we pivot from being a predominantly face to face business and leverage the strength of our brands in an omnichannel and digital environment.

As such, Group Technology is embarking on a clear roadmap for the modernisation of legacy services whilst developing new platforms, solutions and techniques that transform the department into an enabler of reliable, scalable and secure services that support Informa’s digital agenda and diverse customer landscape.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

The Business Systems Analyst will be working as part of a multi-skilled team responsible for supporting, developing and delivering the Informa Naviga Global System.

Naviga is a leading e-commerce system specializing in digital ad services.  Naviga is a key strategic system to increase revenue for Informa by adding new and expanding existing product lines. 

The role is a great opportunity for a person to gain knowledge of advertising monetization programs as well as formal IT, data analytics, and financial processes.

Informa is a progressive company therefore engaging with business stakeholders in driving improvements and enhancements is a key requirement.. 

This role reports to the Naviga product owner in the Oracle Practice Team.

Key Areas of Responsibility/Accountability

This role will assist the  product owner support and develop the Naviga e-Commerce systems.

You will maintain the Naviga system to ensure it is available to meet the business needs.Produce reports ad-hoc and month end. Monitor inbound and outbound interfaces.Assist with business users with data analysis.You will be a key person in assisting with support and project tasks relating to the Naviga System and associated processes.You will also be expected to follow the controls and governance practices within Informa.You will collaborate with functional, technical teams within Informa and with Naviga Global externally.You will also be a key point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring the system and processes meet business needs.

Experience

 

Experience with Report design, creation, and deliveryProficient at MSExcel – VbScript, Macros, Pivot tables, charts, Connecting to remote data sourcesExperience in one of the popular coding languages: SQL, Python, C#, VBscript, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.Driven to maintain data quality and integrity. Ability to monitor and search large data sets to find and remedy anomalies and errors.Ability to deliver data and analysis on deadline as well as day to day requests for ad-hoc data sets

         Desirable

Experience working with or supporting sales or financial organizations. Experience supporting mission critical software applications and business processCapable of working with end users to troubleshoot and isolate problems and develop solutions

Salary range is 65-80k per year
