Business Systems Analyst

As part of a fast-paced, dynamic Information Technology team, you will support various areas of the business by helping translate goals into practical solutions by collaborating closely with Network, Database, Security and Development teams. Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SME), and development teams to gather and document detailed requirements. Analyze and document the current landscape to assist in the design and feasibility of IT solutions, including risk assessment and strategic analysis. Perform data analysis to make informed decisions on project scope, impact, and potential risks. Develop and maintain standardized documentation to support initiatives, including requirement documents, user stories, mockups, wireframes, and process flows. Drive and coordinate the planning, prioritization and tracking of requirements from conception through the successful launch of a project. Coordinate and participate in testing activities, such as User Acceptance Testing, to ensure that the final product meets the specified requirements and quality standards. Facilitate and lead meetings with stakeholders, management, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project requirements, objectives, progress, and to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions by identify gaps in analysis, diving deep to uncover underlying issues and ensure alignment with business goals.  Ability to be a strategic thinker who can innovate and adapt to evolving business needs, with a knack for finding effective and efficient solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaborate across diverse IT and business teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to articulate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in documentation tools, such as Visio, Lucidcharts, or Draw.io, for technical documentation and visual representation. Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, or similar data analysis tools Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, a plus Experience in retail systems, a plus Must be able to commute and work in an office environment multiple times per week, or as required
