Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our Data Privacy team. This role will manage critical data privacy processes, ensuring compliance with comprehensive privacy laws across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and documentation, with an ability to learn and apply data privacy principles. This position involves monitoring verifiable consumer requests, preparing for operational reviews, and collaborating with business units to develop streamlined processes for handling personal information. Responsibilities: Manage Verifiable Consumer Requests (VCRs): * Oversee the VCR process, ensuring timely monitoring and management of data privacy requests from consumers * Track requests by status and age, following up as needed to meet compliance timelines * Coordinate with escalation teams and communicate with requestors to verify residency in compliance with applicable state laws Prepare for Quarterly Operations Steering Committee Meetings: * Collaborate with team members to prepare data privacy reports and presentations for the Operations Steering Committee * Participate in workshop sessions with business units, tracking attendance and engagement to provide insights for future sessions Support Business Unit (BU) Process Improvement: * Facilitate efficient responses to data privacy requests across multiple business units * Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets that track Personal Information (PI) requests and responses, helping to create business rules for consistent handling of future requests
