Business Systems Analyst

What the day will look like
The person in this role will be responsible for developing relationships within the Operations business teams globally and work closely with technology to deliver high quality software. Additionally, in close partnership with the Product Manager, this person will collaborate to maintain a robust product roadmap and deliver on stated benefits within budget.
Partner with technology peers to recommend technology investments. Works with delivery manager to define project scope, create high-level project plans and create the cost-benefit analysis. Collaborate to learn and understand their operations.
Work with the business group to document and map the current-state business processes. Translate business needs into formal, documented business requirements. Prioritize requirements based on business benefit/impact and cost.
Function as the liaison between business group representatives and system development personnel during development efforts. Monitor technology implementation to ensure business requirements are being met.
This person will work with the business to document user stories, translate them to the development team and usher the development into production.
+ Conduct research related to solving complex problems and understanding trends that help support business and IT strategies.
+ Implement system testing and coordinating user acceptance testing
+ Works with one or more sophisticated projects.
+ Maintain an acceptable level of technical and business proficiency to be an advocate for our business to deliver superior technology to leap-frog our competition.
+ Stay abreast of current market trends that serve to inform the overall roadmap.

Skills and Experience that will lead to success
+ A minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
+ Experienced in producing impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
+ Experience working within an Agile environment.
+ Collaboration skills to work with global partners.
+ Insurance or Reinsurance industry experience is preferred/plus.
+ Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
+ Highly developed oral and written communication skills; good communication skills.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,000 - $115,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
