Business Systems Analyst Astronics Subsidiary Location Description Astronics-PECO, located in picturesque Clackamas, Oregon near the foothills of Mt. Hood, designs, certifies, manufactures, and sells a wide range of products to commercial, government, and military markets throughout the world. The Max-Viz enhanced visions systems (EVS) are designed and certified for use as an improvement to safety by a vast array of airplanes, helicopters, and unmanned-aerial-vehicles in the commercial, government, and military marketplace. PECO-Controls are well established temperature control devices designed for applications where high quality is a must, such as the hospitality industry, commercial cooking, and other critical applications. We are looking for a **Business Systems Analyst** to join our established team. In this role you will work as a liaison between IT and business users on various business systems. You will work on documenting system requirements, formulating scope, defining objectives, and creating system specifications that drive system development and implementation as well as providing ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications. It is imperative that you have a strong understanding of SQL report writing to be successful in this role. [LH1] **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** _Analysis and Documentation:_ + Lead client meetings to gather and document business requirements. + Analyze customer requirements and create system specifications. + Develop, document, and update business system policies, procedures, and system specifications. _Implementation and Support:_ + Provide maintenance, support, and development for assigned applications. + Assist in implementing new products and updates. + Educate and train end users on system changes and new features. + Serve as the primary liaison between IT and department SMEs and functional leads during and after project implementation. + Develop, coordinate, and document data conversions and module-to-module interface integrations. + Execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing for systems. _Project Management and Reporting:_ + Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables. + Report to management on the progress of scheduling, implementation, and other project activities. + Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies. **Education, Training & Experience** + Associate or bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. + 2 years of equivalent business analyst experience, preferred. + Experience in SQL Report Writing, required. + Experience in planning, organizing, and managing time across multiple tasks. + Basic understanding of business systems, software implementation life cycle, project management, and business process management. + Basic SQL: Ability to write SQL queries. + Knowledge of database user interfaces and query software, development environment software, object/component-oriented development software, program testing software, and web platform development software. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Jira workflow management. + Professional certification (e.g. CBAP, PMP,) preferred + Knowledge of SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation, preferred **Employment Eligibility Requirements:** Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
